New Volunteers
New volunteers please stop by the front office with the completed Volunteer Application 2010-2011 and Volunteer Opportunities 2010-2011 forms along with a copy of your driver’s license for approval. This is a requirement for all new volunteers prior to entering a classroom for volunteer duty.
Returning Volunteers
Returning volunteers do not need to complete a Volunteer Application Form; however, please be sure to stop by the front office and update your volunteer information in the volunteer check-in computer for the 2010-2011 school year. Returning volunteers must complete the Volunteer Opportunities 2010-2011 form and return to the school.

Mentoring
If you are interested in mentoring a student, please contact Alex Cernkovic at 724-1429.
Log Your Hours
Please don’t forget to log all hours you volunteer for the school or PTA. You can log your own hours in the front office at the volunteer check-in computer in the front office or submit your hours directly to Alex Cernkovic at 724-1429. This includes hours worked:
- at home
- on field trips
- at the Great American Teach In
- on special events (i.e. Spring Fling)
Also, if you work directly with five children or less, this is considered tutoring. Please log these hours on the left side of the Volunteer Counts screen under “Instructional Hours” at the computer located in the front office.
Use this Volunteer Record in Adobe or Volunteer Record in Excel to help keep track of your hours.
